10th July 2006... It's Here Finally!

I want to blog,
but the thoughts are turning into fog,
Stories are churning inside my head,
but my mind's also saying 'Go to bed'.

It's the Finals of the World Cup,
but I doubt I'll be able to wake up.
My heart goes out to Italy,
because to me the French are a snobbish breed.

The hope and wish would have gone to Germany,
but too bad it was not meant to be.
Contradictorily I wouldn't mind if France turns out the Champion,
because Hubby has bet big bucks on them.

Goodbye World Cup 2006. Hubby and I are already talking about 2010, when our kids will then be 4 and 6. Wow!!
